HER SIE - audio record index editor
New version 3 of software HER SIE creates the index with HTML5 support and allows saving the audio files in OGG, MP3 a WAV formats. Playing such indexed files is supported in current versions of browsers IE, Chrome, Firefox and Opera without the installation of any additional modules. Switching to HTML5 provides more effective access to created audio indexes for internet users with reduced the bitrate and smoother audio playback.
Users have the option to rebuild old audio files again into new format if they have archived sources. If not, we do it as a service.
HER SIE version 3 is available as a standalone upgrade. It can be administered alone and is not bound to the version of the control software HER.
The new version HER SIE was established based on the needs of users and their requirements to playback in currently used browsers.
Compared to previous versions it adds:
- completely independent playback of audio directly in the browser with support of HTML5, which corresponds to the standard for ISVS,
- optimization for existing browsers,
- conserved backward compatibility with older versions of the software,
- new formats (OGG),
- new design of audio player.
